Services

Strategic design support across the full product lifecycle.

Whether you need a partner for a pivotal launch, a surgical redesign of a critical funnel, or long-term design leadership support, my services are structured to plug into your existing team and accelerate outcomes—not create parallel work.

UX Research & Discovery

Qualitative and quantitative research that clarifies user needs, aligns stakeholders, and de-risks bold bets before a line of code is written.

I design and run research programs tailored to your stage: from quick discovery sprints and concept testing to longitudinal diary studies. Every insight is translated into succinct artefacts—opportunity maps, journey frameworks, and prioritized problem statements that your team can act on.

Interaction & Product Design

End-to-end UX design for core product flows, balancing usability, accessibility, and brand expression across web and native interfaces.

I specialize in designing dense, information-rich interfaces for professional users. Together we will define clear information architecture, draft interaction patterns that scale, and ensure edge cases are fully considered. The output: production-ready flows, behaviors, and UI specs that engineers can trust.

Prototyping & User Testing

High-fidelity prototypes and structured testing that surface friction, validate assumptions, and accelerate decision-making.

Using Figma prototypes and lightweight design systems, I create interactive prototypes that feel close to the final product. I then facilitate moderated sessions or set up unmoderated tests, capturing both behavioral and attitudinal signals so your team can confidently decide what to ship next.

Visual Design & Systems

Cohesive visual languages and design systems that keep multi-team products consistent, legible, and future-friendly.

From initial moodboards and art direction to tokenized design systems, I define pragmatic guidelines that reduce design debt and create a recognizable brand presence. I partner with your engineers to ensure components are implemented in a way that remains flexible as your product evolves.

Process

A calm, structured approach designed for ambitious roadmaps.

Great experiences rarely come from chaos. My process is intentionally structured yet flexible, giving your team the confidence that we are moving in the right direction while leaving space for discovery and iteration.

01

Discover & align

We start with context: business goals, product constraints, and the realities of your roadmap. Through interviews, artifact reviews, and working sessions, we establish a shared understanding of the problem space and define success criteria.

02

Frame & explore

Next, we translate insights into opportunity areas and tangible concepts. I use low-fidelity flows and collaborative workshops to explore multiple directions quickly, ensuring we pressure-test ideas before investing in detail.

03

Prototype & validate

We then craft interactive prototypes that feel close to the final experience. Together we run structured tests with real users, capturing both behavioral data and nuanced feedback that informs iterations.

04

Detail & deliver

As the direction solidifies, I move into high-fidelity design, motion exploration, and design system integration. The outcome is a clear, implementation-ready spec that engineers can rely on with minimal ambiguity.

05

Launch & refine

Design work does not stop at handoff. I partner with your team through launch, reviewing builds, tracking key metrics, and identifying follow-up improvements to keep the experience sharp as real usage grows.

Each collaboration is scoped to the realities of your team—budget, timelines, and available research access. I am comfortable working in parallel with internal design teams, or stepping in as the primary design partner on a focused initiative.

FAQ

Practical details before we dive in.

Every collaboration is a little different, but many questions come up again and again. Here are a few answers to help you understand how I work and whether it aligns with what your team needs.

What types of teams do you typically work with?

Most of my collaborations are with product-led B2B SaaS and developer tool companies in North America. I tend to work best with teams who have clear ownership across product and engineering and who value measured, research-informed decisions.

Do you only take on full product redesigns?

Not at all. Some of my favorite projects are focused, high-impact initiatives: rethinking a critical onboarding flow, clarifying an overgrown settings surface, or designing a net-new workflow that will sit at the center of your product.

How do you collaborate with in-house designers?

I am comfortable pairing with existing design teams, taking on a specific stream of work, or acting as a thought partner for early-stage designers. Clear roles, regular touchpoints, and shared documentation keep us moving in the same direction.

What is your typical engagement length?

Project-based work often runs for 8–12 weeks, while more strategic or systems-focused engagements may extend over several quarters. I also partner with a small number of teams on a retainer basis for ongoing product design support.

Which time zones do you support?

I am based in Toronto and primarily support teams across North American time zones. I am happy to overlap a portion of my day with European teams when the work calls for it, but I generally avoid fully asynchronous time zone gaps.

How do you handle usability testing and research logistics?

Depending on your stage and existing tools, I can either plug into your research infrastructure or set up lightweight programs using platforms like User Interviews, Maze, and Lookback. We will agree on a research plan that balances speed with rigor.

Do you provide design system documentation?

Yes. When engagements touch design systems, I include clear, maintainable documentation inside Figma along with guidelines for accessibility, component usage, and contribution workflows to support your internal teams.

How do we get started?

The best first step is a 30–40 minute conversation where we walk through your product, current challenges, and timelines. From there, I will propose a scope, phases, and investment that map cleanly to your goals.
